Solution "NTP Function"

Introducing the solutions of the 'ST Series products' for improving system management levels!

The "NTP function" refers to the Network Time Protocol (NTP), which is a function for correcting and synchronizing the system clock. It corrects the system clock by synchronizing with an external time server. If a time server is not used, it is also possible to set the time manually. By using it in conjunction with the SYSLOG function, the occurrence time of events in the output log (correlation with other devices) can be accurately grasped, thereby improving the level of system management. 【Supported Devices】 ■ST13528M ■ST13512M ■ST13116M ■ST13512PW・ST13518PW *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Solution "MAC Address Authentication"

Introducing the solutions of the 'ST Series Products' for enhancing security levels!

"MAC address authentication" is an authentication method that determines whether to allow or deny communication based on the MAC address information uniquely assigned to individual hardware. The MAC address information of the client is registered as a username and password on the RADIUS server. When the client initiates communication, the authentication is completed between the authentication switch and the RADIUS server, allowing all devices that perform network communication to be subject to authentication. No special software is required for authentication. This feature is suitable for improving the security level of networks with access requests from a large number of unspecified clients. 【Supported Devices】 ■ST13528M ■ST13116M ■ST13512PW・ST13518PW *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Solution "SYSLOG Function"

Management of unauthorized access incidents is also possible! Introducing solutions for the ST series products.

The "SYSLOG function" is a standardized client/server communication method for transferring log messages over an IP network. Our products record events that occur internally within the switch. Additionally, through the SYSLOG function, log messages can be sent to an external server, allowing for the recording of access information to the device, whether configuration changes have been made, results of MAC address authentication, control results of MAC entries, SNMP trap information, and port error counter information. By using it in conjunction with the MAC address authentication function, the occurrence of unauthorized access can also be managed. 【Applicable Devices】 ■ST13528M ■ST13512M ■T13116M ■ST13512PW・ST13518PW *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
